Taitaja2020 Jyväskylä event has been cancelled because of the Coronavirus situation.

Taitaja Competition will soon be here! Paviljonki Trade Fair and Congress Center and the whole Jyväskylä will fill up with future and today’s talents between 11 and 14 May 2020.

Taitaja Competition is Finland’s biggest event in vocational education and training where under 21-year-old students compete in vocational skills in Finnish Championships. The 4-day mega event also features TaitajaPLUS skills for students with special needs and in Taitaja9 Competition students from upper comprehensive school compete in technical skills and craft. There are also three skill categories with no age limit – cleaning services, landscape gardening and CNC machining.

During the event, you can peek into future skills by following inspiring skills demonstrations, form useful networks and gain more competence in diverse seminars – and most importantly get inspired and enjoy! Visit also the numerous side events, such as Career Arena – the meeting place of students, schools and companies – and Event Arena which offers all kinds of products, services and experiences.

The themes of Taitaja2020 Jyväskylä competition – changing working life, lifelong learning, entrepreneurship and internationality – generated the slogan of the event: Envision the future.

More than 50 skills and skills demonstrations with over 400 competitors will be seen during the event! In some skills, there are also international participants.

Taitaja2020 Jyväskylä event is organized by Jyväskylä Educational Consortium Gradia and its partners. Skills Finland is the parent organization.
